In what will come as a huge boost for the country's aviation carriers, Indian Oil Corporation today said it had cut aviation turbine fuel (ATF) price by a massive 9.5 percent, or Rs 4,860, to Rs 46,407/kiloLitre in Delhi, effective today.With the latest price cut, jet fuel prices have fallen about 40 percent from a peak of around Rs 80,000 last year, thanks to the meltdown in international crude oil prices.Today's move may give a fillip to aviation stocks on Monday, which have already recently seen some rally. A few days ago, SpiceJet showed it had successfully turned the corner from its near-collapse late last year by posting is highest-ever profit.
