Sandhu takes stock of people's woes due to BRTS

AMRITSAR: Amritsar SAD (Urban) unit president Upkar Singh Sandhu today took stock of the problems being faced by the people due to the ongoing work on the BRTS project.

Amritsar, July 31

Amritsar SAD (Urban) unit president Upkar Singh Sandhu today took stock of the problems being faced by the people due to the ongoing work on the BRTS project. Sandhu visited different parts of the Verka area along with the officials involved in the project. He directed the officials to expedite the work on the construction of the slip road to facilitate smooth flow of traffic in the area. Besides, the electricity wires hampering the movement on the road were also to be removed.

Sandhu asked the officials to streamline the ongoing work on the sewerage line. He also had a word with Deputy Commissioner Ravi Bhagat who assured him of all help in solving the problems being faced by the residents.
