Dutch consumer goods veteran Bart Becht has given up shoes to concentrate on mascara.
Becht is leaving luxury footwear brand Jimmy Choo, where he was non-executive director, to concentrate on his chairmanship at cosmetics and perfume giant Coty which is buying more than 40 beauty brands in an £8billion deal from Procter & Gamble.
Jimmy Choo will welcome Anna-Lena Kamenetzky to replace Becht while publishing executive Meribeth Parker is also joining as an independent non-executive director.
Kamenetzky is a partner at JAB, its biggest shareholder. Parker was publishing director of Hearst Magazines until last month. Jimmy Choo shares dipped 1.3p to 169.5p.
÷ Designer label Balenciaga is to part ways with its creative director Alexander Wang.
