Madonna Sebastian to play Dileep’s heroine

From the twinkle in her eyes to the way she ate cakes have been topics of discussion among her fans, thanks to the character Celine in the hit film Premam.
Singer-actress Madonna Sebastian, who shot to fame by playing the much popular role, will be seen next as Janapriya Nayakan Dileep’s heroine in director Siddique’s upcoming movie, King Liar.
Siddique says that Madonna plays Anjali, a modern, ambitious girl who works in an IT firm.“That said, her dreams are not limited to her current career. She represents the modern women we see around these days, who is ready to go to any part of the world and also work hard to materialise her dreams. She isn’t the kind of girl who wants to be tied up by love or marriage and even the most handsome guy may not be able to persuade her to de-prioritise her ambitions. Her attitude isn’t that of a quintessential Malayali woman,” he explains.
Quiz him as to why he chose Madonna, and Siddique says, “I wanted someone who isn’t too naadan, but appears to have a dynamic quality about their personality to play the role. Madonna fitted the bill perfectly.” Madonna is obviously excited to have bagged a role in Siddique movie. “I feel quite blessed and am proud of doing a movie with the Siddique-Dileep team,” says the actress, who has just completed her Tamil movie directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy. “I also sang a song in an upcoming Malayalam movie, but can’t disclose the details,” she says.
King Liar also stars Asha Sarath, Lal and Joy Mathew in prominent roles and its shoot will start in the beginning of the Malayalam month of Chingam, Siddique says.
