The temperature is expected to rise to 48 degrees Celsius in Qatar on Saturday, the Met Office has said.
The day’s forecast for inshore areas will be hazy at first, followed by a hot day. Some clouds and humid conditions are also expected, along with a hazy to misty spell at places later in the night.
Partly cloudy and hazy to misty conditions by night are expected in offshore areas, according to the weather office.
Abu Samra is likely to be the hottest place in the country, with the maximum temperature reaching 48 degrees Celsius. In Doha, the maximum temperature is expected to be 44 degrees Celsius.
