Eight Kashmiri students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh brings laurels for the college and valley. Students namely Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Sahdiya Anjum, Mohammad Rafiq Khan, Mustaqeem Afzal , Tahid Nazir Rather, Zakir Zaman, Showkat Ahmad, Muzaffer Ahmad Taley etc studying at Aryans bagged top positions in the Merit List of Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.In a statement to KNS a spokesman of the College said a felicitation ceremony was held today for these meritorious students at a local hotel here. Waheed-ur- Rehman Para, Political analyst to Chief Minister, J&K and youth president of the Peoples Democratic Party was the Chief Guest while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the event.Dr. Anshu Kataria while addressing the press conference said that our meritorious students have made us proud by showcasing their academic excellence. Their success is the evidence that we are on the right path.

He said that students of Electrical Engineering 3rd semester namely Mushtaq Ahmad Khan bagged 3rd position, Sahdiya Anjum-7th position, Mohd Rafiq Khan-10th position. Mustaqeem Afzal of ECE-3rd sem has secured 4th position in PTU Merit list. Showkat Ahmad of EEE-7th Sem secured 9th position in PTU Merit list.Apart from this the students of Civil engineering namely Tahid Nazir Rather secured 5th position, Zakir Zaman secured 7thposition and Muzaffer Ahmad Taley secured 9th position in PTU Merit list.Sharing their views with media Kashmiri students of Aryans Group said that the credit goes to their parents, teachers and management of Aryans who worked hard and supported students in every possible way.

Himanshu, HOD, Civil Dept said that education is the mean of developing greatest abilities and strength in the students. We make the students equipped professional with an ever open and fresh mind for new thoughts in technological improvements so that students can emerge as valuable contributory assets to the development of the nation.More than 1200 students from different parts of JK are already studying under different courses in Aryans. These students are performing well in academics, sports, cultural activities, innovations etc.Few of the innovations done by Aryans JK students are Aryans Android App, Life Saving Glove, Aryans Save Kashmir App, Aryans Safety Helmet etc. These projects were launched and applauded by eminent personalities of Punjab.

Nitin Khosla, Faculty, Aryans Group said that all the staff and Management of Aryans are proud of them. He added that the faculty also played a major role for their achievement. He further said that the college would extend every possible help to them during their courses.Ravi, Faculty, Aryans Group further said that the Group is committed to impart necessary skills and knowledge to our students in best possible manner, in good spirit and in good environment by allowing them to dream big and help them to achieve the same.
