Farrukhabad cops sent to police line
The Uttar Pradesh police had arrested suspect of village Nagla on Wednesday allegedly because they had stolen a laptop and beaten them with leather belt.
Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has ordered to withdraw five policemen of Farrukhabad from duty and send to police-line on the charge of beating three boys mercilessly. A departmental probe has also been started against them.
These policemen include Shaligram Verma, Inspector, Mohammad Shamsul,Sub-Inspector and three constables Beta Ram, Subodh Kumar and DeepakKumar had brutally beaten the boys on the charge of stealing a laptop.

However, Srikant Yadav, Station House Officer of Rajepur area has only been shifted to Tikona police station.
The police had arrested Sarvesh Rajput, Surjit Rajput and Farid Khan of village Nagla on Wednesday allegedly because they had stolen a laptop and beaten them with leather belt. A clipping of the incident went viral on social media on Thursday, leaving the police department in particular and the state government in general high and dry.
