Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: PSP

The PowerShares Global Listed Private Equity Portfolio ETF (PSP) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 703,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 262,000. Shares of PSP were up about 0.9% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Prospect Capital (PSEC), trading up about 0.1% with over 958,000 shares changing hands so far this session, and The Blackstone Group LP (BX), up about 0.8% on volume of over 797,000 shares. Safeguard Scientifics (SFE) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 1.5% on the day, while TCP Capital (TCPC) is lagging other components of the PowerShares Global Listed Private Equity Portfolio ETF, trading lower by about 0.7%.
