London-based literary agency Andrew Nurnberg Associates has announced that it will be opening a new office in Warsaw, to be run by Marcin Biegaj, currently senior agent and sales director at the Graal Literary Agency. The agency expects the new location to open up shop on September 1.

“I’m delighted that Marcin is joining the ANA team," said Nurnberg. "His reputation amongst local publishers and international rights holders goes before him and we look forward to realizing our shared ambition to provide the best literary representation in Poland.”

The announcement follows the agency's decision to cut ties with Polish agency BookLab, which is run by Aleksandra Lapinska, and will continue to operate as a separate agency.

In March, Andrew Nurnberg announced that it would be partnering with Turkish agency, AnatoliaLit.
