Mogul’s lover ‘held Picasso at knifepoint’

Jason Flom, the record mogul who’s signed Katy Perry, Lorde and Jessie J, also has a keen eye for women behind the scenes — including a fiery model/actress who once held his Picasso “at knifepoint” during a lovers’ spat.
We hear Lava Records boss Flom — who’s been in a bruising divorce war with his wife, former Atlantic A&R exec Wendy Berry Flom, for five years and counting — had a relationship during the split with a Russian actress named Ania Spiering, sources said. But during the tryst, things got so hot that they once overheated, when Ania held a priceless painting from Flom’s collection hostage during a disagreement, we’re told.

Sources told Page Six that Flom — former CEO of Atlantic, Capitol and Virgin Records — was dating Spiering at the same time his divorce case dragged on. “They were together [for more than] a year,” said a source, adding that Jason helped Spiering with $4,200 a month for rent and $10,000 in “living expenses.”
But things apparently weren’t always so romantic. “This girl once held a Picasso at knifepoint [during an argument with Jason],” a source claims. “He was on vacation in Aspen with his kids . . . when she called and videoed herself in Jason’s Manhattan apartment, holding the painting. Jason’s doorman had to stop her.”

Stunning Spiering — whose credits include last year’s “The Hungover Games” — even has a blog of poetry. Music sources speculate some odes are to Jason. “You’re free to leave or stay/I’m nobody to tell You/How You should live Your life . . . I’ll never be Your wife,” says one. Another includes a description of “spanking someone’s butt” while many end with cryptic notes like: “My good friend J, I love You” or “J, it’s about You.”
We hear Flom has since moved on from leggy ­5-foot-10 brunette Ania, who’s now living in LA.
He recently put his and Wendy’s Aspen house on the market for $8.25 million as part of their divorce, which is said to be finally nearing a ruling. Flom’s reps didn’t get back to us.
Ania told us through her manager, Brandon Kjar: “Jason and I had a wonderful, loving relationship. When I was going through a very difficult time in my life, Jason was there for me and I wish him only the best.”
