This Friendship Day, a whole dose of entertainment is coming your way. Various venues across the city are gearing up to make the day special for friends. Here are some of the events and special offers lined up for August 2, i.e. Sunday.

‘Pay a drink forward’

While bakery units in the city have dished out Friendship Day special menu, Bean Board has come up with a unique ‘Pay a Drink Forward’ initiative called ‘One for Me, One for Someone Else’. You can choose to pay for a drink for the next customer and take them by surprise. This way you get a chance to make a new friend. The bills of the paid drinks with the names of the buyers will be stuck to a wall and the next customer who walks in gets to select from what it.

Music unlimited

At Hotel Novotel, the ‘My Party - Urban Dance Music Festival’ promises to take revellers on a fun-filled musical evening at the roof top. DJ G Kilogram, Flipsyd, DJ Sekhar from Hyderabad, DJ Yash from Delhi, Midnight Traffic and An5 Roy will dish out an entertaining show. The event will feature flea market, beer pong and other drinking games. And after all this, if you still yearn for more, there will be an after party at Vue Bar with an ‘All Star Jam’ between all the DJs.

EDM fans can look forward to an electrifying evening with the talented duo Arjun Nair and Stallion of ‘Answer’ - and Swarup Varma at The Park on Sunday. One of the most promising artistes of the country, ‘Answer’ curates an experimental audio visual showcase ‘De:Vision’ and has performed alongside some of the biggest international names like Quintino, Bassjackers, Andrew Rayel and Tenishia. Swarup Varma’s versatility in various music genres promises to create an ambience of taste, talent and celebration for all music lovers.

Get ready for the ‘Party Boom’ at HiFY Go Karting arena on Friendship Day with a series of entertaining shows. There will be fire jugglers, battle of b-boying and rain dance followed by pulsating music by DJ Rahul.
