Local actress lands spot on ‘Hawaii Five-O’

LIHUE, Hawaii (AP) - A local actress and owner of a popular yoga studio in Kapaa has landed a guest spot on the CBS police drama “Hawaii Five-O.”

The Garden Island reports (https://bit.ly/1M0TmmZ ) that Samantha Lockwood will appear in one episode of the show’s upcoming sixth season.

Lockwood’s father, Gary Lockwood, once had a guest spot on the original series that ran from 1968 to 1980. Gary Lockwood was best known for his role in the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey.”

Samantha Lockwood runs Bikram Yoga Kauai and says she is much more fulfilled by her yoga than acting. She spent the past two years traveling the world teaching yoga classes.
