The New York Times has promoted Arthur Gregg Sulzberger—son of publisher and chairman Arthur Sulzberger Jr.—to associate editor.
Sulzberger most recently served as a senior editor for strategy. In a memo to staffers, Times executive editor Dean Baquet praised Sulzberger’s leadership in that role.
“At a moment when The Times is making big changes and significant progress, the team of Tyson Evans and Jon Galinsky, led by Arthur Gregg Sulzberger, has played a role in nearly every digital project we have undertaken,” wrote Baquet.
”The group has focused their collective reporting and strategic planning talents on our long-term challenges and priorities.
