Couple alert: Pratyusha Banerjee introduces her ‘man’ at a party

After a rather nasty break-up with long-time boyfriend Makrand Malhotra, including making rounds to a police station following a FIR complaint, Pratyusha Banerjee - the original Anandi of 'Balika Vadhu' has found love again.
She is dating actor-producer Rahul Raj Singh. What sparked off the rumors is their appearance at a party, where the Bengali actress introduced Rahul as 'My man'.
An eyewitness reveals, “They both hail from Jamshedpur and so have a lot of things in common. They met at a common friend’s birthday party around three months ago and hit it off instantly. They are going from strength to strength and want to be sure about the relationship before they go public.”

When contacted, Pratyusha said, “We are really good friends. Since we belong to the same hometown, the connection is strong.”
Rahul also parroted the same line, “Pratyusha and I are very good friends. Also, we are from the same town and hence, the connect.” Putting the age-old excuse to good use, aren’t they?
