BENGALURU: Former CEO and co-founder of Infosys Kris Gopalakrishnan and Japanese investor Teruhide Sato have invested in 99Tests, a Bengaluru based crowd sourced soft ware testing platform.
99Tests founder Praveen Singh confirmed the development but said he could provide more details in another week.
Founded in 2010, 99Tests provides software product owners with on-demand access to test their products on cloud, and find and fix bugs quicker.
99Tests has 12,500 testers across the globe and their client list includes Flipkart, Cleartrip, Practo, and FoodPanda. Gopalakrishnan stepped down from the Infosys board in October last year and has since invested in many startups, including chat message app Lookup, Bengalurubased Freshworld, and Chennai-based Uniphore.
Sato is the president and group CEO of Beenos that has previously invested in startups like Shopclues and CitrusPay.
