Sathish Kumar, working as reporter in a leading Tamil daily, was murdered allegedly by his elder brother here on Wednesday.
Sathishkumar was a resident of Kaspa area in Vellore. His brother Vasanthakumar thought his girl friend had an affair with Sathish Kumar and enmity was brewing between them before Vasanthakumar hacked his brother to death, police sources say.
Based on a complaint from their mother shylaja, Vellore south police station booked a case and arrested Vasanthakumar and three others. When asked for the others’ names Vellore south police station inspector Nagarajan said that since they were planning identification parade in the case, they don’t want to reveal the names.
