Paediatric quiz organized

LUDHIANA: The college round of 'IAP Pediatric Quiz' was held at Dumra Auditorium, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital on Thursday. Dr Harmesh Singh Bains, professor & head of pediatrics, played quizmaster and said that the quiz is organized every year to promote child health care awareness among medical students both at the undergraduate and PG level.A total of 150 medical students attended this academic feast.
There were four teams with two participants in each. Team compairing of Mehak and Amitoj from 2011 batch won the competition. The team will now represent the institution at a state-level competition to be held at CMC, Ludhiana. Dr Bains motivated the winners and gave prizes wishing best of luck to the winners for the next level of competition.
During the progamme, students in the audience also participated and won gifts.
