'All Is Well' songs hit the right notes

The soundtrack of director Umesh Shukla’s new venture, All Is Well, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, Rishi Kapoor and Supriya Pathak, is fast catching on with the listeners. That’s a given since producer Bhushan Kumar is known to have a keen ear for chartbusters. All the three tracks of the family entertainer launched so far are earning appreciation.

'Chaar Shanivaar', composed by Amaal Mallik, penned by Shabbir Ahmed, sung by Vishal Dadlani and Armaan Malik with the rap written and rendered by Badshah, was not only trending on social media on the day of its launch, but also has the makings of a party anthem.

Written by Kumar, 'Nachan Farrate' has singer Kanika Kapoor crooning a Meet Bros composition, after their earlier collaborations on 'Baby Doll' (Ragini MMS2) and 'Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan' (Roy). This dance number, featuring Sonakshi Sinha, has become popular on the airwaves and on college campuses. The music company has also recreated the song 'Ae Mere Humsafar' (from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak) as a travel number, composed by Mithoon, who has also sung it with Tulsi Kumar. Released earlier in the week, this track, with additional lyrics by Amitabh Verma, has received positive response as well.

Interestingly, 'Baaton Ko Teri', that brings together Himesh Reshammiya and Arijit Singh, has earned high appreciation, making it the third hit. Understandably, producer Varun Bajaj is elated. He says, “We’re overwhelmed with the positive response to the songs, particularly 'Chaar Shanivaar' and 'Nachan Farrate' that have become popular amongst the youth.”

Equally pleased with the response to the movie’s soundtrack, Bhushan adds, “I’m extremely thankful to people for appreciating the songs of All Is Well. This is a feel-good film that has something for everyone. Our aim was to ensure that the music too, reflects this emotion.”
All Is Well, produced by T-Series and Allchemy Film Productions, releases August 21.
