The administration is chalking out strategies to reach out to the gram panchayats in a phased manner. The elected representatives have been asked to extend their support and turn the campaign into a mass movement. Progress of the district would be monitored by the collector while for villages it has been handed over to patwaris.
In the initial stage, total 69 panchayats have been included. Villages here will be made ODF by December 2015. Saredi Badi, Vajvana, Navagaon, Badgaon, Savnia and Khamera are to be developed as model panchayats, where community work has already been started.
