Film: All Is Well
Music: Himesh Reshammiya,
Meet Bros, Amaal Mallik, Mithoon
Label: T-Series
Rating: 4
Bollywood: The music for this comedy has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya, with Amaal Mallik, Meet Bros and Mithoon coming in as guest composers, and lyricists
Shabbir Ahmed, Kumaar, Amitabh Verma, Majrooh Sultanpuri and
Mayur Puri writing the songs. The album opens with the rousing
Chaar Shanivaar, sung with a
bindaas attitude by Armaan Malik, Vishal Dadlani and some rapping by Badshah.
Composer Amaal takes his cue from South Indian folk music style
dappan koothu and the result is full of
masti.
Baaton Ko Teri is the quintessential romantic number you’d hear in a Bhatt film, with the difference being the composer — Himesh. He has toned down the music, and Shabbir keeps the lyrics serious.

Nachan Farrate is an item song of the highest energy, which again brings together singer
Kanika Kapoor and composers Meet Bros (sans regular contributor
Aanjan). The Punjabi item number is tailor-made for the dance floor.
Mere Humsafar is a prudent remake of the modern classic
Ae Mere Humsafar from
Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak by
Anand Milind. Mithoon’s recreation is easy on the ears, and the composer does double duty behind the mike, dueting with
Tulsi Kumar who are much weaker than the original’s
vocalistjodi of
Udit Narayan and
Alka Yagnik. Reshammiya is back with
Tu Milade, which sounds like another melancholic Bhatt song, but with a more likeable tune and competent singing by Ankit Tiwari.
YOLO is a Punjabi pop number which will get the youth dancing. Reality singing show winner Sreerama Chandra brings it to life, but Himesh’s composition is average and Dr Zeus’ production doesn’t add any lustre. An entertaining and danceable soundtrack.
