An accident involving two cars under the Safa Park Bridge has caused a major traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road in Abu Dhabi-Dubai direction.
According to a motorist, there’s a long tailback stretching back to nearly Mall of the Emirates.
Motorists have been advised to take alternative route due to major traffic.
“The cars are moving very slowly. I could see one car is being towed away after the accident,” a motorist told Emirates 24l7.
Motorists said traffic from Dubai World Trade Centre Roundabout to Business Bay Metro is also moving very slow.
The traffic on roads is quite heavy generally at this time due to office closings – and the weekend as well.
