Hated daughter-in-law inherits Astor family’s $14.5M

Charlene Marshall, who was once derided as “Miss Piggy” for the way she treated her late mother-in-law, Brooke Astor, was laughing all the way to the bank Wednesday after a judge ruled she is entitled to what’s left of the famous Manhattan philanthropist’s fortune — $14.5 million.

When Charlene’s hubby Anthony Marshall died, he left all the money and property he had inherited from his mom to third wife Charlene. He was Astor’s only child.

He cut out his two sons — and grandchildren — after the boys blew the whistle on their dad for swindling his frail mother and secluding her in squalor in her Park Avenue pad. Sons Philip and Alec decided not to show up to contest the will. Charlene Marshall did not return messages.
