Two BPO employees held on rape charge

Two BPO employees, D. Nehal (23) and his friend G. Srikanth (29), were arrested by the police on charge of raping their colleague after forcing her to consume alcohol at Vanasthalipuram, the police said.

The victim, an engineering graduate along with Nehal, Srikanth and Shine had partied at a house in Sahebnagar of Vanasthalipuram on July 5. All the four are employees of a BPO centre in Secunderabad. “The woman approached us on July 15 and made a complaint stating that Nehal forced her to drink liquor and then raped her. Srikanth later outraged her modesty,” Vanasthalipuram Inspector B. Pushpan Kumar said. Based on a complaint, Srikanth and Nehal were nabbed. They admitted to the crime.
