George Clooney's longtime friend and international supermodel Cindy Crawford is producing a new TV series "inspired by the wars between top modeling agencies in the 1980s," reported the U.S. magazine Variety.
Quite fittingly, the show's been named "Icon" and will "chronicle the battles between the Ford Modeling Agency and Elite Model Management," reported AFP.
Although Crawford won't be starring in the series - ironic, no? - we wonder if her new bestie and fashion icon Amal Clooney will make a cameo or even take on a starring role in the series?
Amal's style became much-loved and copied by thousands of her fans across the world after she married George Clooney in September 2014, with even a handbag by luxury Italian designer Ballin being named after her.
As for Crawford, at 49, she's one of the most famous models of all time. In the 1980s and 1990s, she was one of the most sought-after models.
"Icon" will air on American TV channel NBC, but an air date is yet to be revealed.
