Man charged with stabbing pregnant Amal Abdi in Bristol

A man has been charged with murdering a pregnant 21-year-old woman in Bristol, police said.

Somali Amal Abdi, who was four months pregnant, died from stab wounds on Sunday at an address in Morley Street, Barton Hill.

Ms Abdi was unconscious when police arrived and was given medical treatment but died at the scene.

Abdi Rashid Khadar, 21, of no fixed address, is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
