Pithoragarh, July 29
Dinesh Kunjwal, vice-chairman of the State Watershed Development Council, today said Chief Minister Harish Rawat deserved another term in the office after 2017.
He said Rawat played an important role in the successful completion of development schemes. “The schemes launched by the state government can yield results if the Chief Minister gets five more years to see them successful,” Kunjwal said.
Addressing villagers on the occasion of Harela programmes at Nachni town of the district, he said the Chief Minister had launched several schemes which if completed in time would create jobs avenues at home for youths who are moving to SIDCUL like establishments for low-salaried jobs.
Watershed Development Project Deputy Director Dr RK Singh said national projects like the Namami Gange could be successful only if small schemes like watershed development schemes of state get success. — OC
