PATNA: Gaya-Jasidih special train (03652-03651) via Patna Junction will run five days a week, except on Monday and Thursday, during Shravani Mela from August 1 to 30, 2015.
According to Danapur railway division PRO R K Singh, this special train will make 22 trips with the load combination of 10 general coaches. It will leave Gaya Junction at 8.55pm and reach Jasidih next morning at 5.30am.
It will have stoppages at Jehanabad, Patna Junction, Fatuha, Bakhtiarpur, Mokama, Hathidah, Kiul and Jhajha, he said. On its return journey, it will leave Jasidih at 7.30am except on Thursday and Friday and reach Gaya Junction the same day at 5.50pm.
Patna-Jasidih special train (03291-03292) will also run daily from August 1 to 31 to cater to the passengers’ needs during ‘mela’ period. It will leave Patna Junction at 11.45pm and reach Jasidih next morning at 5am. On its return journey, it will leave Jasidih at 9.15am and reach Patna Junction the same day at 2.50pm. The special train will have the load combination of 10 general coaches, Singh said.
Besides, railways will also run another special train 03235-03236 between Danapur and Sahibganj and Bhagalpur–Danapur special (03401-03402) every Sunday during ‘mela’ period on the path and schedule of Danapur-Bhagalpur Intercity Express. The load combination of this train will be 12 coaches, he said.
Railways has sanctioned two minutes extra stoppage of Patna-Malda Express (13415-13416), Bhagalpur- Yashwantpur Express (12253-12254), New Delhi-Malda Express (14003 -14004), Gaya-Kamakhya Express (15619-15620), Bhagalpur-Ajmer Express (13423-13424) and Malda-Anand Vihar Express (13429-13430) at Sultanganj station. Except for Rajdhani Express, Purva Express and Janshatabdi Express, all mail and express trains will have three minutes extra stoppage at Sultanganj station during the ‘mela’ period, the PRO said.
