INDORE: Incessant rain threw the traffic out of gear at several places across the city on Tuesday. Commuters faced a lot of inconvenience driving through the waterlogged roads dotted with potholes.
Massive traffic jams were witnessed at Footi Kothi crossing, Collectorate crossing, Palasia, Navlakha, Sapna Sangeeta, MR-9, Mhow Naka, Railway Station, Gangwal Bus stand, Bhawarkuan, Rajwada and BRTS corridor.

Ashok Jaiswal, a resident of Sudama Nagar said, "I have shifted to Indore six months back and I am very disappointed with city's traffic system and dilapidated condition of roads. Making things worse, dug up roads for ongoing projects are adding on to the woes of residents."
Pragya Jain, a resident of Rajendra Nagar said, "Due to knee deep water, my scooty broke down and it took hours to reach home due to massive snarl."
DSP traffic, Vikram Singh Raghuwanshi said, "We have sent a letter to IMC to look into the issue of water logging and potholed roads and resolve the problem at the earliest.
Civic body officials are working on it but continuous rain is disrupting works. We have also deployed cops at busy routes to take stock of traffic situation."
