Senator Jacqui Lambie appears to have found inspiration in US President Barack Obama.
The Tasmanian senator issued a media release today criticising Liberal MP for Burnie Brett Whiteley over the potential loss of the Burnie International Tennis Classic to the area.
The tennis tournament has been put on hold due to a lack of federal funding, it was reported this morning.
However, it was Senator Lambie's new email header that drew the most attention.
The portrait of the controversial senator appeared to have been drawn in a similar fashion to the famed "Hope" posters from Mr Obama's presidential campaign.

However, Senator Lambie opted for "Trust" instead of "Hope" as her image caption.
Her office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
