Electricity engineer in ACB net

An engineer of Electricity Department, B. Sangameshwar, was arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau officials for demanding and accepting Rs. 75,000 from a person for not disconnecting power connection over non-payment of dues.

The accused Assistant Divisional Engineer was caught accepting the sum in a hotel from P. Sambashiva Rao, owner of a building comprising 16 flats and eight shops. ACB DSP J. Ashok Kumar appealed to people to approach him on mobile phone no. 9440446109 on corrupt practices by any State Government employee.
