Ms Cameron, who worked in real estate, and her partner Elie Issa were found dead in Mr Issa’s Rosemont Avenue home on Friday, July 17.

Chifley local area command crime manager Inspector Luke Rankin said yesterday that following last week’s post-mortems on the bodies of Ms Cameron and Mr Issa, police are able to confirm Ms Cameron (pictured) suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Mr Issa died from a single gunshot wound.

When asked about any other injuries suffered by Ms Cameron, Inspector Rankin was unable to comment. He was also unable to talk about the time of their respective deaths.

Inspector Rankin said while police could confirm the same weapon was used on Ms Cameron and Mr Issa, they were unable to say what type of weapon it was at this stage.

He said police were continuing to prepare a brief for the coroner, which would be completed subject to the preparation of final reports, including those from both ballistic and pathology experts.

Inspector Rankin also said police had gathered a lot of information relevant to their enquiries which cannot be released.

Strike Force Eiraben was established following the discovery of the bodies, and police have spoken to family and friends of the high-profile couple to try to establish the reasons behind the murder-suicide.

At the crime scene, a bullet hole was clearly visible in the lounge room window of Mr Issa’s home, the same room where both bodies were located, with a firearm between them.

Mr Issa held a NSW firearms licence and was a registered owner of firearms.

No previous reports of domestic violence related to either Mr Issa or Ms Cameron were ever reported to police.

The family of Ms Cameron released details of her funeral service last week, which will be held in the Camellia Chapel at the Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium, North Ryde on Friday.

Mr Issa’s family released details of his funeral today, which will be held in Bathurst on Thursday.
