TEMPE, Ariz. -- As soon as the news that the Arizona Cardinals made history by hiring Jen Welter as an assistant coach for training camp and the preseason broke, Twitter lit up with both positive and negative opinions.
Included in the reactions were those from a few players, who expressed their feelings toward Welter, who's believed to be the first female to coach in the NFL. Safety Tyrann Mathieu, Inside linebacker Kenny Demens and rookie defensive lineman Rodney Gunter all retweeted tweets about Welter.
