The preparation for 12-hour 'ultra run' scheduled at Shivaji Park on August 15 is in full swing. The preparatory run for eight hours was organised by a Thane-based wellness group 'Runtastics Dil Se' on Sunday and runners who excel in ultra run from Thane, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai participated in the event.

The practice started at 5am from Airoli via Kanjurmarg and finished at Airoli around 1pm. The loop of 5km was meticulously designed by an experienced runner.
