Thiruvananthapuram: A Neyyatinkara-based smallscale publisher is bringing out a two-in-one volume consisting of thebiographies of Karl Marx and Mahatma Gandhi written by Swadeshabhimani Ramakrishna Pillai, the legendary journalist who was exiled from Travancore for writing against the policies of the Government.
Incidentally, the two books by Mr Pillai, written in the six year period between his exile in 1910 and his death in 1916 were the first biographies of both Mahatma Gandhi and Karl Marx in the Malayalam language. The book will be released at a function at Athani in Vanchiyoor here at 4 p.m. on July 29.
