Ballari (Rural) police have arrested the main accused in the Akash Naik murder case that had occurred near Belagal cross on the outskirts of the city on July 2. R. Chetan, Superintendent of Police, told presspersons here on Monday that Ramesh Naik, who was wanted in two murder case, and Manju Naik, Gopal Naik, Sandip, were arrested on Monday. With the arrest of four, the total number of arrest in this particular case has gone up to 10.
Long standing enmity between the two groups was the reason for murder and retaliation.
