3,112 candidates selected for counselling based on TANCET score

As many as 501 candidates turned up on the first day of counselling on Monday at the Government College of Technology for admission to Master of Computer Application courses in colleges across Tamil Nadu.

Withdraw

According to sources, of the 613 candidates called for counselling, 501 turned up and of those 436 chose seats in engineering colleges and 63 in arts and science colleges. Two withdrew their candidature as they did not get colleges of their choice.

As many as 3,112 candidates were selected for counselling based on their TANCET score. The Government College of Technology administration will hold the counselling till July 31 and thereafter take up counselling for admission to Master of Business Administration courses.
