Scan, ECG facility inaugurated

The urban health centres in Nagapattinam and Nagore have been provided with scan, ECG, and blood analyser facility on Monday.

K.A. Jayabal, Minister for Fisheries, declared open the facility at both centres.

He said the facility had been provided at an expenditure of Rs. 25.14 lakh each sanctioned under the ‘State Balanced Growth Development Fund’. The facility was provided to benefit the population of about 55,670 in these two towns.

S. Palanisamy, District Collector, said the clinical reports would be made available immediately through the current infrastructure.

Manjula Chandramohan, Municipal Chairperson, Johnson, Municipal Commissioner, and Kausalya, Municipal Health Officer, were present.
