Minister for Youth Services & Sports, Information Technology and Technical Education, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari today said that augmentation of Water supply schemes in Sonawari Tehsil of Bandipora district is on the priority of District administration Bandipora adding that work is apace on Water Supply Scheme at Sunberan and Zalpora in Sonawari Tehsil which will cater to the needs of the local community.The Minister was interacting with deputations from Anderkoot, Shilwat, Nowgam, Zalpora and Dhab villages of Bandipora and Ganderbal districts, who called on him today.

The deputationists projected their demands regarding improvement of potable drinking water, repairs of road from Sumbal to Khanpeth, renovation of drain and lanes and other issues pertaining to day to day life.The Minister who is also chairman of District Development Board Bandipora assured the deputationists that their demands would be looked into on priority. He said Government is committed to address all problems of the people, adding that various new and innovative schemes have been introduced to accelerate the developmental tempo in state and the benefits will percolate down to gross root level.
