Economic Opportunities MEC Alan Winde to brief Western Cape Provincial Parliament on impact of visa regulations
Tomorrow, 28 July 2015, Economic Opportunities MEC Alan Winde, will brief the Western Cape Provincial Parliament on the economic impact of the National Government’s visa regulations.
The Standing Committee on Economic Opportunities, Tourism and Agriculture, has asked Minister Winde to provide the update.
Minister Winde’s briefing will include:
- The impact of the visa regulations on the Western Cape’s key sectors
- The interventions of the Red Tape Reduction Unit to minimise the effect of the regulations on the local economy
- Proposed solutions to lessen the negative economic impact of the visa laws
