PG counselling to begin at university today

Centralised counselling for admission to postgraduate courses at Mangalore University for 2015-16 will begin from July 27. The counselling ends on August 1.

The counselling will be done at Mangala Auditorium, a release said.

It said the university is likely to fill 863 seats under science stream, 651 seats under arts stream, 485 seats under commerce stream and 90 seats under education stream.

The first two days (July 27, 28) have been reserved for admitting students for science courses followed by two days for commerce and education streams. Admission to arts courses would be made on July 31.

The admissions for the government seats in private colleges will be done on August 1 at the same venue.

The consolidated list of candidates and the lists of selected and candidates in waiting list have been uploaded in the web-portal of the university.

Students have been requested to obtain the details from www.mangaloreuniversity.ac.in and appear before the selection committee for their admissions along with the required fee and documents in original.
