JAMMU, July 26: An urgent meeting of six elected members of District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee was held at Doda.
DGPC Doda, district six members formed new DGPC Doda office bearers which are S Krishan Singh president S Kartar Singh, vice president S Jashpal Singh general secretary, S Daya Singh, cashier, S Ghanisham Singh joint secreatary and Amrit Singh as organiser.
The six members of DGPC Doda visited Digiana Ashram to get the blessing of Mahant Manjit Singh Ji Sheromani Dera Nangali Sahib. All the visting DGPC members were presented Siropa by Mahant Ji.
The six members unanimously offer their self to work under the guide lines of Dera Nangali Sahib and shall always ready to honour the directions of Mahant Manjit Singh Ji. Mahant Ji advised the new DGPC Doda to serve the Sikh community in their district selflessly in the religious and betterment of the community and Dera Nangali Sahib shall fully help and support the new elected committee as and when need.
The leaders of various sikh organizations were also present on this occasion including S Sudershan Singh Wazir president Sikh United Front and ex-president SGPB, Surinder Singh Kala and S Avtar Singh Khalsa member DGPC Jammu, S Mohinder Singh chief organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa society, S Paramjeet Singh president, AISSF and Ramnik Singh, member DGPC Jammu.
