Won’t support Fadnavis govt, says Ajit Pawar

After Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray hinted at the possibility of withdrawing support to BJP government in Maharashtra, NCP leader Ajit Pawar on Sunday said his party would not extend outside support to Fadnavis-led government like it did immediately after the state elections when the BJP had fallen short of the majority. “At that time, we were not in favour of immediate elections, therefore, we extended support to the BJP from outside,” Pawar said, clearly indicating that the NCP was in favour of a mid-term election rather than a tie-up with BJP.
