Crutchlow sustained the injury during a practice session ahead of the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, and was unable to take part in the race.
But just a week after undergoing surgery, the Tech 3 Yamaha rider says he will ride in Assen – though he admits he is not certain to make it to the start line.
"Assen is another track that I know from my time in World Superbikes,” Crutchlow said, “but I will have to see how my shoulder is doing on the bike and go from there.”
“It is Yamaha's 50th anniversary and I will do my best to be there and support them."
