Dehradun, July 26

The state government yesterday held a health workshop for its IAS and IPS officers where they were given tips to remain fit.

The workshop was held under the aegis of an Ahmedabad-based organisation ‘Michelle Health”.

Dr Alap Shah, director, Michelle Health, advised the officers, including Chief Secretary N Ravi Shankar, on increasing their efficiency by keeping a check on their calories and stress level.

Dr Shah said a good posture was vital for preventing cervical and spine problems that arose due to continuous sitting in one place, ie at the desk or computer. By non surgical segmental spinal decompressor system, problems related to spine and cervical can be cured without surgery, he added.
