Pagbitay kay Veloso di na prayoridad ng Indonesia

MAKARAANG bitayin ang mahigit isang dosenang drug convicts simula noong Enero, sinabi ng Attorney’s General Office (AGO) ng Indonesia na hindi pa itinatakda ang ikatlong bugso pagbitay kasunod ng naganap noong Abril.
Ayon kay Attorney General M. Prasetyo, hindi pa tinatalakay kung kailan ipa-firing squad sina Mary Jane Veloso at Serge Atlaoui ng France.
“I have not even thought about it yet. We are focusing on other, more important, tasks that need to be completed soon,” aniya.
“We hope that it was clear through the first and second wave of executions that we will be firm and not tolerate any drug violations,” dagdag ng attorney general.
Kapwa nakatakda noong Abril 29 ang pagbitay kina Veloso at Atlaoui subalit naantala.
Kapwa rin itinanggi ng dalawang convict na sa kanila ang mga droga na nakuha sa kanilang ng mga otoridad.
Matatandaan na noong Hulyo 10 ay dinalaw ng Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao at asawang si Jinkee si Veloso sa kulungan nito.
