The device maker has just announced it will be slashing the price of the Mi4 model with 64GB or internal storage permanently in the country.
The phone is now available for purchase for $280 / €255 from Flipkart. Other retailers should follow the same trend soon, so you will be able to pick up a Mi4 for the same amount virtually anywhere.
Xiaomi recently debuted the 32GB version of the Mi 4i in India, which is sold for approximately $235 / €214. The phone should go on sale before July 28.
For those out of the loop, the Xiaomi Mi4 is a phone coming with a 5-inch 1080p display plus a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset under the hood.
The chip is fitted with 3GB of RAM and a 13MP/8MP camera combo.
Xiaomi has also promised its Indian fans that more promotions will be offered before July 28, so we’ll keep you up to date if anything tantalizing shows up.
Xiaomi is cutting down the prices of its current flagship because in a few months the device maker will roll out the Mi5 and Mi5 Pro premium models, the latter being the first phone to arrive with a Snapdragon 820.
