2 more succumb to injuries in Bangarpet accident

With two more people succumbing to their injuries, the death toll in Thursday’s freak accident at Bangarpet has risen to four.

Two were killed when a truck ran into a group of people, who were crossing the road near the KSRTC bus stand in Bangarpet town of Kolar district on Thursday night. Rajappa and Jagadish had died on the spot. Two others, Ravichandra (45) and Shabir (28), succumbed to the injuries at a private hospital on Friday.

The tragedy occurred as the truck driver was allegedly driving in an inebriated condition.
