Nalanda Vidya Niketan students, as part of social responsibility week on Saturday, staged playlets thus bringing to fore the importance of students’ role at home, in school, in organisation and in society.
Students of Class III, IV and V showcased their theatrical abilities much to the delight of the teachers, dignitaries and jury. Competitions were also organised for students from Class I and II on storytelling.
“Adorning make-ups that suits their roles the students gave riveting performances. These events will help the students to mould themselves as responsible citizens and also develop as their personality,” said school Principal M. Padmaja in a release.
Ms. P. Sravanthi, K. Madhulatha, T. Madhulatha and Rajeswari acted as judges.
