Chamba, July 25
Traffic was restored on the Chamba-Killar highway near Bairagarh today. The highway was closed following landslides at the Shukrali Nullah. The Public Works Department removed the debris from the road.
The highway connects the district with the tribal Pangi valley.
Transportation resumed and areas such as Janwas, Bounderi and Bairagarh were connected with the town again. PWD Chamba Division executive engineer Jeet Singh Thakur said vehicular movement was restored between the Pangi valley and other parts of the district.
