Bhupinder Singh Mann Ex MP, National President BKU, Chairman All India Kisan Coordination Committee (KCC) and Baldev Singh Mianpur President BKU Punjab, said in a joint press statement that central agriculture minister, Radha Mohan Singh has highly humiliated farmers and is highly condemnable and shameless statement against farmers.Mann said that whole BJPand its allied parties should sink their head in shame on such a heartless and derogatory utterance.He said that it seems as if Prime Minister Modi is sharing his anti farmer mind through his ministers. BJP Govt has been exposed of its attitude towards toiling Kisan. Since the BJP and its alliance Government formation, farmers are being attacked by one way or the other, land acquisition is the latest.
The government is exerting its might against farmers by one way or the other.
S. Mann said that the ‘so called’ farmer friendly Parkash Singh Badal Govt. is mum on such nonsense/sinister statement. S Badal mightbe preferring Ministership of his daughter-in-law over the honor of self respecting farmers.S. Mann further said that deliberate anti farmer policies are responsible for unbearable debt, un employment, lack of education etc. , and above all the drug menace, the cause of havoc to rural people cannot happen without Govt nod.S. Baldev Singh Mianpur said that statement of the central minister has hurt the farmer’s minds and we feel such statement as most insulting statement ever made against the sons of the soil.The Kisan leaders demanded that the Prime Minister should ask for resignation of his minister Ram Mohan and apologies for such anti farmer statement so that no one dare insult the self respecting farmers of this country. Farmers would never tolerate such shameless comments from anybody and will never forgive such people.
